Brazilian General Data Protection Law

The BGDPL establishes rules on the collection, storage, treatment and sharing of personal data, imposing more protection and penalties for non-compliance. Companies have to adapt, and those that violate the new law will be subject to fines, which can reach 2% of the organization's revenue, with a limit of R$ 50 million per infraction.
